Gaining a greater understanding of Alberta’s historic voting patterns will provide a wealth of insight into current and future voting patterns.
Alberta has a unique, but little known, political history -- full of colourful stories and characters. Janet's presentation is an entertaining examination of the issues, policies and people that have shaped the province over the past century. It also provides a global perspective of Alberta’s history by illustrating how change in Alberta has been shaped by change elsewhere in the world.
Janet Brown has been working in the field of public opinion research for the past 18 years. Over the years, Janet has managed research assignments for all levels of government, numerous public sector organizations, and several large corporations. Since forming her own company in 2002, Janet’s practice has focused on providing public opinion research solutions to Alberta's public sector.
Join us at the home of Alberta’s first Legislature for this historic look back at Alberta's last century and past premiers to gain interesting insights on what the future might hold.
