About the Speaker
John is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Ifop North America and Consumer Vision. Prior to this role, John was Managing Director of Maritz Research/Thompson Lightstone in Canada and has held a variety of marketing research positions both on the agency and user side of the business for more than 20 years.

John has served on the MRIA national board since its inception having come from the previous CAMRO board. He was the founding chair of the MRIA's Research Agency Council and served on PMRS chapter and conference boards.

John is equally comfortable with qualitative and quantitative methodologies having worked both as a focus group moderator and research consultant for a wide range of clients. John has spent much of his career in the financial services arena and considers it to have been an honour to have been involved in the design and delivery of national branch-based satisfaction programs for two of Canada's biggest banks. John began his career as a marketer of marketing research products in Canada developing such diverse products as the Omnitel national telephone ominubus, UNCLE tabulation software, and the BRC ad testing technique in Canada. John holds his CMRP and a BSc in Psychology from McGill University in Montreal.
