There have been many advances in the analysis of survey data during the past several years that can help marketing researchers extract important information from survey data. SPSS is the most widely used application for the analysis of survey data and has been developed to be quite easy to use. This course will work through more advanced analyses that are capable of providing significant insights into consumer behaviour and motivation. This is a hands-on workshop where all participants will be performing the analyses at computers using SPSS during the two days. Some basic statistical background will be provided for each technique, the data will be analyzed and the output interpreted. Tips on how to present the resulting insights to clients will be discussed.

This course would benefit both suppliers and buyers with a desire to improve their abilities to understand consumers using powerful statistical analysis. Those attending should have had a recent course in statistical analysis of survey data and be comfortable using SPSS to perform basic analyses of survey data.
