This year, the QRD sets out to stretch the boundaries of our industry to dig deep into the current challenges that we as recruiters, research buyers and suppliers, are faced with on an ongoing basis. The goal is not only to expose and discuss these challenges but also to look at them from a different perspective. By shedding new light on traditional ways of doing, borrowing from different areas and questioning innovation, we will be Exploding Paradigms to provide meaningful, thought-provoking insights.
We are pleased to announce that Terry O’Reilly will be this year’s Conference keynote speaker.
Terry O'Reilly is a name that is synonymous with radio advertising. Director/Founder/Partner of Pirate Radio & Television in Toronto, Terry has won countless international awards for his radio work over many years, as a writer, producer and director. He served as a judge on multiple award show juries, including Cannes’ inaugural radio jury in 2005, and served as chair of the radio jury at the 2006 Clio Awards. In November 2006 Terry received the ADCC's Lifetime Achievement Award. Terry appears in the popular advertising book Cutting Edge Radio, and has hosted two radio shows about advertising and persuasion on CBC Radio.
O'Reilly on Advertising: features the world's greatest ads, tells the stories behind them, then gets under the hood to show you what makes 'em tick. Or hum, or purr, (or what have you).
The Age of Persuasion: He continues his exploration of how marketing and advertising have permeated almost every aspect of our lives.
This one-day QRD Annual Conference includes breakfast, keynote speaker, lunch speaker as well as morning and afternoon concurrent breakout sessions and a closing reception.
