The Qualitative Research Division is pleased to announce our main event – the 2012 QRD Day, a full day conference about all things qualitative with speakers, breakout sessions and opportunities for networking.
LEARN – a great opportunity for client-side researchers and research practitioners at all levels to gain a better understanding of qualitative research – getting the most out of it, how and when to choose it as a methodology, and how to apply the learning.
EXPLORE –developments, techniques and options for qualitative research. When is the best time to use a new technique or adaptation? When is it best to stick to the tried and true? Moderators can add some skills to their toolbox, client-side researchers can hear and learn about different approaches .
EXPAND – increased knowledge about the inner workings of qualitative research. Trends and challenges in recruiting, improving relationships between field, moderator and buyer, get tips on new technology and tools for running your business.

Susan Abbott, CMRP is a qualitative researcher with a passion for insight-led innovation. Prior to launching Abbott Research + Consulting in 2001, Susan was a vice-president of TD Bank Financial Group where she held diverse general management positions. She frequently speaks and writes on topics related to managing customer experience, insights and innovation, including publishing the Customer Crossroads blog since 2004.
