Join us as we Learn, Explore and Expand our qualitative toolbox at the MRIA's annual QRD Day Conference. This year's QRD Day Conference will again take place at The Ontario Science Centre.

The Ontario Science Centre, surrounded by scenic lush greenery, recently completed a $47.5 million transformation and will provide the perfect dynamic setting for a day of exploration, discovery and creativity.The Science Centre is renowned for delighting, informing and challenging visitors through engaging and thought-provoking experiences in science and technology. 

Registration will take place in the Mezzanine outside the Telus Conference Room. Follow the signs and take the escalator by the entrance doors to the second level.

Parking Information: Parking is complimentary for conference attendees before 9:00 am.  A flat rate of $5.00 per car will apply for vehicles entering after 9:00 am.
Note: there is a drop off area in front of main entrance doors

Driving Directions: If you’re coming from downtown Toronto, take the Don Valley Parkway North until Don Mills Road north and then follow the signs
If you’re coming from somewhere else, take HWY 401 or 404 until you reach the Don Valley Parkway south. Continue south until Wynford Drive, then head west and follow the signs.

Public Transit Directions: From downtown Toronto, take the Yonge subway line north until Eglinton Station and transfer to the Eglinton East Bus (route 34). Get off at Don Mills Road.

Or, take the Bloor-Danforth subway line east to the Pape Station and transfer to the Don Mills (route 25 bus). Get off at St. Dennis Drive, right in front of the Science Centre.

Directions from the Pearson International Airport:

  • Take HWY 401 East to the Don Mills Road exit
  • Go South for around 10 minutes until you reach the Science Centre

Directions from the Toronto City Centre Airport:

  • Take Lakeshore BLVD East to the QEW heading East until the Don Valley Parkway
  • Take the Don Valley Parkway “DVP” North until Don Mills North and then follow the signs

What to Wear
The QRD Conference is business casual and we encourage you to be comfortable. Please note that the Science Centre’s conference rooms can sometimes be on the cool side, so you may wish to bring a sweater or light jacket to the sessions.
