Toronto Chapter Golf Tournament a Great Success!
The 2011 version of the Toronto Chapter’s golf tournament was held on Thursday, September 29th at the Piper’s Heath Golf Course south of Milton. We had a great turn-out this year with 55 golfers taking part. Despite a bit of rain early in the day and late in the afternoon, everyone managed to finish their round. Our hosts at Piper’s Heath were excellent and provided a great meal at the end of the day and everyone went home with a gift from the door prize draws – made possible by our generous sponsors.
The overall winners were the team of:
- Peter Milic
- Shelley Edwards
- Mike Freeman
- Rick Lempera
The “most honest” team (worst score – not to be mentioned) was:
- John Snow
- Elaine Robbins
- Jim Moir
- David Lang
